Dish barrels with dividers, wardrobe boxes that keep clothes on the hanger, and picture cartons for framed art are standard on every packing job we run. Grocery store boxes soften in humidity and collapse when stacked, which is a real problem in a Georgia summer.
We bring what the job needs rather than asking you to find boxes on your own.
Partial packing
Many households pack their own books, linens, and closets, then hire us just for the kitchen, the china cabinet, and the artwork. It is a split that holds the cost down while still leaving the fragile items to people who pack them daily.
Tell us during the walk-through exactly which rooms you want covered, and the quote reflects that split.
Unpacking at the new address
Unpacking means the crew empties boxes onto counters and into closets, sets dishes into cabinets, and takes the flattened cardboard away with them. The house looks lived in by evening instead of two weeks later.
Anything you would rather handle yourself, such as a home office or personal papers, is simply set aside in the room you name.
Electronics get wrapped and boxed separately, with cables bagged and labeled by device, so a television or a computer is easy to reconnect once it reaches the new living room.
Booking a packing crew
Packing is usually scheduled the day before a local move or the same morning for a smaller apartment. Tell us the square footage and whether the home has a garage or an attic with extra volume, and we will send a crew sized for the job.
A short call ahead of the move to walk through any fragile collections, such as glassware or artwork, helps the packing crew bring the right size of carton for each piece.
